Michael Frenz has been the Chief Financial Officer of the Company since July 2019. Previously, he was the Head of Capital Markets. Mr. Frenz manages the Company’s financial and investment strategy, and works with the executive team to unlock meaningful long-term value across the portfolio.
Prior to joining Clipper, Mr. Frenz was a Senior Vice President in the real estate investment banking group at FBR, where he advised clients on capital raising and strategic transactions. Previously, Mr. Frenz held various investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Securities and Merrill Lynch. Separately, Mr. Frenz partnered with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) on a multinational oil production company principal investment, where he served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and led the financial planning/corporate strategy division.
Mr. Frenz graduated from The Wharton School with a B.S. in finance and received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
